Creative Commons is an incredibly important non-profit making it easier for people to legally use, share, repurpose and remix creative work. It’s about a shift from the default all-or-nothing stance of “all rights reserved” to a spectrum of “some rights reserved.”  Creative Commons isn’t about knocking down copyright, but rather complementing it in ways that support, and fuel, creativity and culture.
